The images on the products included in this catalog were created by both Bobbie Kitchens and Rick Van Dyke. Both are known for their photography of the Gothic Underground. Rick has been a photographer for over 29 years, specializing in portraiture.He works primarily in black and white photography. Bobbie manipulates her photographs with the aide of the computer, (much the same way as would be done in the darkroom) but without the chemicals. She also hand paints the photo surface. She starts out with a black and white image, which she hand colors, using a variety of media such as dyes, inks, paints and pastels eta.This manipulation of the traditional photograph is referred to as an artistic or alternative photo process. She has created alternative photography since 1975 and in fact by experimentation and a few broken rules, developed a new photographic process. Her work has been published and shown consistently in galleries throughout Northern and Southern California since 1975.Bobbie took her fine art and created products that could showcase her work in a medium that could be collected by anyone at an affordable price. The Drac Pac Gothic Card dp01
The Drac pac was created for the 100th anniversary of Bram Stockers "" Dracula "", celebrated by the 1st ""Dracula Convention"" held in Los Angeles, August 17th, 1997. The Game was so popular and in demand that it was later released on the national market October 1997. This is a Gothic card game, you can play regular cards or you can slip into the future world of Vampires vs Hunters.
"It is the sixth day of the sixth month, in the year 2006, the World has been in a state of turmoil since the New Millennium. It has come to pass, as prophesied by the Old Ones, that there would be a second coming of our Lord. He has arisen on this very night. However, the Monks of "the Order of the Black Rose" have had, for the past 600 years, one goal and that is to free humanity from the Evil forces of Darkness and all who are non believers are considered evil. Who is good and who is evil is simply a matter of opinion."
This is a table top role playing game, complete with personas. Most of the artwork was created by Bobbie Kitchens, known for her photography of the gothic underground. Some of the photographs were taken at Gothic clubs, Helter Skelter LA, The Underground SF, The Roxy LA, Sinomatic LA, The Crypt and others goth venues. There is only a limited 1st edition produced at this time. These cards are hand made by the Artist and signed. If you collect art or have an interest in collecting 1st edition games this is your best buy. There are 64 cards in this deck and there are 50 different images one on each card. If you love Gothic Imagery you'll have to own your own deck of cards.

Bobbie's fine art is available in 9"X 12" limited editions Of 25 . these prints are a silver halide photographic process called "Fujix", which is a continuous tone print that is exposed with laser diode then developed with moisture and thermal transfer. No chemicals are used in the process, so the print is as archival as any traditional silver print. These prints start out as black and white photographs,which Bobbie scans into a computer and manipulates. This computer enhanced work is the beginning of a new series of images Bobbie has created over the past year. These finished images resemble her earlier work in which She also started out with a black and white photo image, that she manipulated and colored by hand with various media such as paints, pastels inks and dyes.You can see all the images available by purchasing a catalog for $5.
